Oktoberfest time is special jersey time at FC Bayern Munich. For the 189th edition of the Oktoberfest, the record champions will once again be wearing a special jersey – which will only see one home game
Once again this year, FC Bayern will be wearing a special jersey during the Munich Oktoberfest. On Monday, the record champions unveiled the jersey that the team will wear in the home match against champions Bayer Leverkusen on September 28.
In gray with a new “centerpiece ”
The jersey is a shade of gray and is complemented by green shorts. The “centerpiece” of this year’s “Wiesn collection”, according to FC Bayern, is the specially designed “Wiesn emblem”, which runs through all items and adorns the left chest of the jersey
In the men’s version, the jersey costs 99.95 euros as standard and can be upgraded with a player flock for 15 euros. In the children’s size, the record champions charge 75 euros for the jersey. This puts it in the same price category as the home, away and Champions League jerseys presented so far.
Only one Bundesliga home game
The Oktoberfest takes place from September 21 to October 6 this year. As FC Bayern will play an away match on both the opening and closing days (in Bremen and Frankfurt), the new jersey will only be used in one home match
