However, the publisher left open the question of how many games the reigning champions would need to do so. The information was more specific when it came to the Conference Finals: according to the simulation, Boston beat the New York Knicks 4-2 games. The Oklahoma City Thunder followed them into the final after beating the Dallas Mavericks 4-3. The MVP of the season in the simulation was Luka Doncic.
