The football highlights in November – and who shows them live on TV

Preliminary decisions in the European Cup, decisions in the World Cup qualifiers – and hot Bundesliga duels: Which football highlights November offers and where they are shown live.

Will Borussia Dortmund take revenge against Ajax Amsterdam? After the 0:4 in the first leg, BVB will host the Dutch champions at home in the Champions League on 3 November. RB Leipzig are grasping at the last straw against Paris St. Germain in parallel (both 9pm, DAZN).

The day after Olympiakos Piräus and Eintracht Frankfurt (6.45pm, TVNow) and Bayer Leverkusen and Real Betis (9pm, RTL) could be the deciders for progress and group victory in the Europa League.

Löw farewell, Berlin derby, second division clash

The Bundesliga has the top match between champions FC Bayern and pursuers SC Freiburg to offer on Saturday, 6 November (15.30, Sky). Internationally, all eyes will be on the city derbies between Manchester United and Manchester City in the Premier League (6.11, 13.30, Sky) and between AC Milan and Inter Milan in Serie A (7.11, 20.45, DAZN).

After that, it’s the turn of the national teams: While it’s time forGermany against Liechtenstein – with the official farewell of former national coach Joachim Löw – (11.11., 20.45, RTL) and in Armenia (14.11.. (12/11), Portugal-Serbia (14/11), Netherlands-Norway (16/11) and Montenegro-Turkey (16/11, all 8.45pm, DAZN). In South America, Argentina and Brazil will also meet on 16 November (9pm, DAZN).

The Bundesliga returns with the Berlin derby between Union and Hertha (20.11., 18.30, Sky), while in the 2. Liga the relegation duel between Werder Bremen and Schalke 04 (20.30, Sky and Sport1) takes place on the same day.

The fifth Champions League matchday features the summit clash between Manchester City and Paris St. Germain in the following week. At the same time, BVB may play Sporting Lisbon for a ticket to the last 16 (both 24/11, 9pm, DAZN). And in La Liga, November ends with Real Madrid’s tough home match against FC Sevilla (approx. 28.11., not yet scheduled, DAZN).
