Tennis player Sabine Lisicki is delighted about the birth of her first child. “Our hearts are filled with love and happiness,” the 34-year-old wrote in English on Instagram. They are grateful to “welcome Bella into our world”. The former Wimbledon finalist also posted a photo of a baby’s head being held by four hands. She also wrote the hashtag babygirl.
Sports celebrities such as former star ski racer Lindsey Vonn congratulated her under the post, for which Lisicki expressed her gratitude. She had announced at the end of June that she wanted to return to the professional tour after the birth of her child. The former world number twelve has not played a tournament since December last year
