Telekom sponsors SK Gaming’s first Valorant women’s team

SK Nebula is the first valorant women’s team to be sponsored by SK Gaming. A scouting tournament will be held to find talented players to form the team

The portfolio of Deutsche Telekom’s Equal eSports initiative is being expanded. As the company announced, the newly created SK Nebula will be the first valorant women’s team sponsored by SK Gaming. Scouting tournament for team composition

The foundations of the team are laid at the SK Gaming Valorant Scouting Grounds competition. There, ten selected players can “prove their skills under the guidance of professional coaches”, according to the official announcement. Ultimately, the best talents from the competition will form the team that will compete in Project Queens, the German Valorant League for women, from May to the end of the year. The aim is to qualify for the Valorant Game Changers, the highest European league for women.

“By supporting SK Nebula, we are adding another eSports title to the promotion of diversity and equality in the gaming world. The decision to include Valorant in the Equal eSports Initiative program reflects the desire to create a comprehensive and inclusive environment in the eSports industry,” says Antje Hundhausen, Vice President Brand Experience and initiator of the Equal eSports Initiative.
