Jan-Lennard Struff has reached the round of 16 at the ATP tournament in Rotterdam. The 33-year-old tennis pro won his first round match against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 4:6, 7:6 (7:5) and 7:6 (7:4).
After 2:28 hours, the world number 25 decided the match against the 24-year-old Spaniard, who is ranked one place above him, in a tie-break.
On Thursday, the German number two will face Finland’s Emil Ruusuvuori or France’s Ugo Humbert, who will play each other on Wednesday.
