Matthijs de Ligt will probably leave Juventus Turin for Munich. At the training kick-off of the old lady, the fans of the Italian record champion nevertheless made every effort to persuade the 22-year-old to stay.
Even though the rumours about a transfer of Matthjis de Ligt are getting louder and louder, the fans of Juventus Turin have not yet given up hope to see the 22-year-old in the jersey of the Old Lady in the coming season. “Stay with us!” shouted numerous supporters when the Dutchman got out of the car in front of the “J Medical” on his return to Turin. There, de Ligt and other Juventus professionals underwent the obligatory medical examinations on Sunday before the start of training.
Hundreds of fans had turned up to celebrate their stars returning from holiday. De Ligt approached the supporters and patiently signed autographs, but did not let anything slip about his future plans. Speculation has been rife for weeks, with media reports suggesting FC Bayern Munich and Chelsea FC are strongly interested.
The Munich side have earmarked de Ligt as their new head of defence and he is said to have already agreed to join the German record champions. The poker game is currently on about the transfer fee, with Juventus reportedly demanding 75 million euros.
