Champion ratiopharm Ulm has found its way back to success in the BBL. The club from Ulm won 84:76 (43:36) at Bamberg Baskets. A defeat against the strong newly promoted Rasta Vechta (102:106 n.V.) had recently ended a winning streak of four games.
After trailing for a long time, Bamberg, led by Zach Copeland (17 points), had caught up with Ulm in the meantime, but lost touch in the final period. Ulm’s Trey Woodbury was the game’s best scorer with 20 points.
Ulm (13:4) thus keeps in touch with second-placed Bayern Munich (11:3). Bamberg is still outside the play-off places with six wins and eleven defeats.
