No Euroleague basketball in Russia for the time being

In the Euroleague, no more games will be played in Russia for the time being. This was decided by the 18 clubs of the European premier league, including ZSKA Moscow, Zenit St. Petersburg and Unics Kazan, on Friday after Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

Matches with Russian representatives scheduled in other countries are to continue as planned for the time being. There are no Ukrainian teams in the Basketball Euroleague. The match between ZSKA Moscow and FC Barcelona next Sunday has also been cancelled.

The clash between FC Bayern and ZSKA Moscow had also not taken place as planned on Thursday. The clubs agreed to continue monitoring the situation in Ukraine and adjust measures if necessary, it was further reported.
