Motorsport-Team Germany: These 27 pilots will be sponsored in 2025

Which 27 pilots have qualified for the German motorsport development squad of ADAC Stiftung Sport and DMSB in 2025 and what the funding looks like

Motorsport-Team Germany has presented the 27 motor sportsmen and women who will be part of the joint funding program of the ADAC Foundation Sport and the DMSB (German Motor Sports Federation) in 2025. A total of 16 four-wheel athletes, 15 of them from the circuit racing sector, have qualified for the squad. In addition, there are eleven two-wheeler athletes.

20 of them were already part of the squad last year, seven were newly admitted. Four athletes belong to the world squad and have now established themselves in top-level motorsport.

They are ex-DTM driver and Porsche contract driver Laurin Heinrich, who is one of the fastest drivers in the Porsche squad and won the GTD Pro overall classification in the IMSA series, BMW works driver Max Hesse, who won the Dubai 24 Hours and repeatedly showed his talent, and Formula 3 hopeful Tim Tramnitz.

“Bringing German motorsport back to world prominence”

And with Norick Blödorn, a man from the European motorcycle speedway has also made it into the selection. Oliver Goethe is not yet part of the world squad in his second year of funding, but he has made the leap into Formula 2.

“The most promising German talents in the motor sports disciplines we sponsor belong to the new sponsored squad of Motorsport-Team Germany,” explains ADAC Head of Motorsport Thomas Voss, who also serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of the ADAC Sports Foundation.

During the selection process, “an important goal” was “to find exceptional talent who will bring German motorsport back to international prominence in Formula 1, MotoGP and other internationally significant racing series in the future. The German manufacturers Audi, BMW, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche are actively helping us with this by offering extensive support.”

What the funding looks like and who has been accepted

How the pilots are funded? In addition to financial support from the ADAC Sports Foundation, all squad members who aspire to success in European or world championships receive comprehensive training for an international, professional career in two- or four-wheeled vehicles, according to the press release.

The training programs range from fitness, mental training, sponsorship, media and vehicle technology to discipline-related squad training.

Who are the newcomers to Formula and GT racing? They are Hugo Schwarze (LMP3, Michelin Le Mans Cup), Lenny Ried (Eurocup-3), Janne Stiak (Porsche Carrera-Cup) and GT4-Germany champion Finn Zulauf (GT3).
