Ludwigsburg sign talent Hartmann from Munich

The MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg have signed the young player Sebastian Hartmann from FC Bayern München.

The 17-year-old Hartmann will be given a dual licence with the Swabians and is expected to play in both the Bundesliga and the third division ProB, the club announced on Wednesday. “Basti Hartmann has shown at Bayern Munich that he is a very promising, talented player,” Ludwigsburg’s new coach Josh King said, according to the statement.

ratiopharm Ulm have also made a move in the transfer market, signing Brazilian Yago Mateus dos Santos. The 23-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Swabians, as his new club announced on Wednesday. According to Ulm, the set-up man last played for Clube De Regatas Do Flamengo in his homeland and was the league’s most valuable player in the 2020/21 season.

“It was important for us to find a player who can create space for teammates with his speed and playfulness, but who is also able to variably find the finish himself,” Ulm’s sports director Thorsten Leibenath said, according to the statement.
