Christopher Kramer (up to 60 kg) and Michael Widmayer (72 kg) both failed in the quarter-finals on the seventh day of competition in Belgrade. Light heavyweight Peter Öhler (up to 97 kg), on the other hand, still has a chance in the hope round on Saturday because his opponent made it to the final.
Anastasia Blayvas (up to 55 kg) had won bronze for the German team on Tuesday.
