This is the third medal for the German team in Belgrade
World Championship bronze medalist Lorena Brandl has brought the German Taekwondo Union (DTU) its first gold medal at the European Championships in Belgrade. On the second day of competition, the 26-year-old from the Tiger and Dragon Altmannstein/Mindelstetten team came out on top in the over 73 kg category.
On Thursday, Yanna Schneider (Swisttal) and Supharada Kisskalt (Nuremberg) had both won bronze at the start. The European Championships in the Serbian capital run until Sunday
