Long requested, it is now official: In the latest update of eFootball 2023, a missing feature will be added.
The change from eFootball 2022 to eFootball 2023 was announced in a big way. Thanks to the licences of the Milanese clubs AC and Inter, the Derby della Madonnina moved into eFootball, new card types and packs for coaches and ambassadors expanded the portfolio of available items. The gameplay also received an update, but many players were still missing an indispensable feature: friendly matches.
A sorely missed feature for players of all classes
An omission that caused some incomprehension from casual to eSports players. While the casual player could not even play online with a friend, eSports players lacked the basis to be able to train successfully – as the best German eFootball player Mehrab ‘MeroMen’ Esmailian revealed to us in eSport Talk.
Now, however, the lack of understanding is a thing of the past, as an update has given players the opportunity to compete against friends with their dream teams since Friday. This was done “at the great request of the community”, as Konami announced in the announcement of the latest update of eFootball.
In fact, almost the entire community is included. If you play on a PlayStation 4 or 5, an Xbox Series XS Xbox One or a computer with Windows 10 or via Steam, you can now look forward to hot duels with your friends. Only on the smartphone is the function missing.
