FC Schalke 04 has been fined 15,000 euros by the DFB sports court.
As the Schalkers announced on Thursday, the court based its verdict on the unsportsmanlike conduct of the supporters in two cases. During the 1:2 away win at SV Sandhausen on 29 April, several objects were thrown onto the pitch. In addition, a fan climbed over the fence, entered the pitch and thus caused a short interruption of the game.
From the fine imposed, Schalke can invest up to 5,000 euros in security or infrastructural measures. The Bundesliga promoted team has already agreed to the verdict, which is therefore legally binding.
