James could not hide his frustration as his Cavaliers got completely outplayed by a far superior Warriors team. Despite his outstanding individual performances, James finished off on the losing side yet again in the NBA Finals. There have been rumours circulating for some time about where his next destination will be.
LeBron James’ Wife prefers LA
Apparently his wife prefers a move to LA and has been making enquiries at a California High School already. So if those rumours are true then it looks like his next team will be the Lakers. James has until the 29 June to make the decision over whether to opt out of his Cavaliers contract, so there is not long to wait to find out where he will be playing next season.

Putting family first
When prompted for confirmation on where he will be playing, he recently said ‘I have no idea at this point’. He also went on to say that his family will be the key focus when he is making his choice, so if his wife is looking at schools in California then that is a pretty big hint about his next destination.
Of course, he could also be referring to the fact that his kids are settled where they are and that he does not want to uproot them by moving to a completely new state. So there is still time for him to announce that he wants to stay at the Cleveland Cavaliers. They can offer him a 5 year deal worth more than €200 million.
Other teams linked with James
Philadelphia 76ers and Houston Rockets are the other teams that James is being linked with. 76ers are below the cap and this gives them a good position for negotiating free agency players. Rockets are probably the least likely destination but you just never know in basketball, there could be a shock move on the horizon for LeBron James.
