Chelsea Exodus on the Cards as Hazard Wants New Challenge

The transfer market is seriously heating up now that the small matter of the World Cup is out of the way. Chelsea fans will be hoping that the transfer window closes quickly before any of their star players jump ship, with Willian, Hazard and Courtois all being linked with moves away from the club.

Manchester United and Barcelona Want Willian

Willian is wanted by both Manchester United and Barcelona, with Jose Mourinho hoping to be reunited with the player he managed at Chelsea. If Barcelona do put a bid in for Willian, the lure of the La Liga champions could be too much to turn down, it just depends whether they are prepared to pay as much as United are. The next few days should show how serious the clubs are in signing the Brazilian, as a bid is expected this week. Willian could join Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic as players that have swapped the Chelsea blue shirt for a Manchester United red one.

Hazard and Courtois have apparently made a pact to stick together, wherever that may be, as Courtois outlined following his great performances in the World Cup to pick up the Golden Glove. That could mean that they both end up staying at Chelsea but it is more likely that they are lining up moves to Real Madrid now that they have some cash to splash following Ronaldo’s departure. Hazard hinted that he sees his future away from Chelsea in his own comments, saying that it could be time for a change after six years.

All change at Chelsea as Sarri takes over from Conte

Maurizio Sarri Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri could have a big job on his hands trying to replace the three players that aside from Kante have arguably been the top three players over the last few seasons. Kante is another player that could join the exodus, with PSG rumoured to be interested in bringing the French World Cup hero back to his home city, Paris. The move would be a long-time dream for the player who has had an amazing journey over the last few years, winning Premier League titles with both Leicester City and Chelsea, now adding the World Cup to his list of achievements.
