Brose Bamberg have signed Solomon Young as a new centre and completed their squad.
As the Upper Franconians announced on Monday, the 24-year-old US-American comes from the Belgian club Leuven Bears. “Solomon is a young, hungry player whose style of play is defined by toughness and energy,” Bamberg coach Oren Amiel expressed. According to the club, the Brose squad is now complete.
Does the dirty work too
Young, who initially signs a contract in Bamberg until mid-October, started his career at Sacramento High School in the USA. “The culture that exists at Brose appeals to me,” emphasised the 2.03-metre tall professional. “I am a team player who is not too shy to do the ‘dirty work’ on the floor once in a while.”
Bamberg will start the new BBL season on 2 October with a home game against champions Alba Berlin.
