Big EA promise: New features for FIFA Mobile

EA SPORTS has provided an extensive update for FIFA Mobile. According to the developer, numerous improvements await the players.

FIFA Mobile has been on the market since 2016 and has received numerous updates since then. The latest patch was rolled out by EA SPORTS on Tuesday – the developers accompanied it communicatively with pithy words.

Jace Yang, General Manager at EA China, promises nothing less than the “most authentic football experience of all time on mobile devices” in a statement from the video game company – a new era is to be ushered in.

The main focus of the update is the engine, which has undergone a number of changes, especially in terms of graphics. For example, owners of the latest generation of mobile devices with correspondingly fast processors will be able to set the game to 60 FPS in the settings.

This will make the gameplay smoother and more responsive. Users of older devices, on the other hand, can throttle the performance and thus maintain compatibility. The possibilities of the technology are to be exploited more adequately.

More possibilities in team management

Some fundamental changes will also be made in terms of gameplay. In particular, team management is now more extensive and allows players to intervene in positional play in greater detail, which can also be adjusted during the course of the game.

From now on, standard shooters can also be defined, and features such as stamina and special moves have been added. This means that the overall game experience is more closely aligned with the console versions of FIFA.

Other new features include the adaptability of weather conditions and the time of day as well as the implementation of new stadiums. The new camera angles are likely to be more interesting: From now on, four different perspectives can be selected during the match. New camera options are also now available for replays and standard situations.

“One stop shop for global football fans “

“Our studios EA China and EA Vancouver have worked hard to make FIFA Mobile even more of a one-stop shop for global football fans. Here, they can connect and compete no matter where they are. We’re really looking forward to welcoming veterans and new generations of players to the game in the coming years,” Lawrence Koh, Head of FIFA Mobile, was quoted as saying.
