Big comeback at WWE

Roman Reigns returns to WWE RAW and takes on Seth Rollins and CM Punk – all signs point to a big three-way fight at WrestleMania.

The “Road to WrestleMania” at WWE continues to pick up speed!

On Monday night, top star Roman Reigns made his comeback after an absence of around six weeks, paving the way for another big match at the mega show in Las Vegas.

WWE RAW: Reigns takes on Rollins and Punk

Reigns intervened at the end of the TV show Monday Night RAW in the cage match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk – the two opponents with whom he had a wild three-way confrontation at the Royal Rumble.

The “Original Tribal Chief” appeared at the end of the fight near the cage door, pulled his former Shield partner Rollins out of the ring – thus unintentionally giving him the victory according to the rules of the fight – and then violently beat the “Visionary”.

Reigns took revenge for the brutal beating he received at the Rumble with his beating attack and, to top it off, missed Rollins’s stomp, Rollins’s own finisher, with which he had put Reigns out of action for a long time at the Rumble.

All signs point to a three-way fight at WrestleMania

Reigns saw that his manager Paul Heyman was in the ring with Punk, giving his former protégé encouragement – which adds fuel to the discussion about Heyman’s loyalties. Reigns then entered the cage, took on Punk as well and speared him.

The staging of Reigns’ comeback intensified the signs that Reigns, Punk and Rollins will compete in a triple threat at WrestleMania. In the medium term, a big one-on-one match between Reigns and Punk is also likely.

The story between Reigns and Punk began last fall when Heyman hired Punk to support the “War Games Match” between Reigns and his “Original Bloodline” against the new bloodline around Solo Sikoa – and Punk was promised a yet-to-be-revealed “favor” in return.

Four matches have been confirmed so far for the two-day WrestleMania on April 19 and 20 at the NFL Stadium in Las Vegas: WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will face John Cena, who has been transformed into a villain, World Champion Gunther will face Jey Uso, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will face Charlotte Flair, and Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky will face Bianca Belair (and possibly the dethroned Rhea Ripley, who registered a claim for a rematch at RAW).
