Leon Goretzka (26) and Alphonso Davies (20) will again not be available for FC Bayern München this weekend against TSG Hoffenheim.
As they did on Wednesday in Lisbon (4:0), Bayern will have to do without Leon Goretzka and Alphonso Davies on Saturday against Hoffenheim.
The midfielder continues to be out of action with a cold. “He doesn’t feel one hundred percent fit yet,” Julian Nagelsmann announced on Friday. The coach had joined the press conference from isolation due to his Corona illness.
“With Phonzie,” Nagelsmann said of Davies, “the risk is too great.” The Canadian was substituted in the 5-1 loss at Leverkusen because of thigh problems. “That’s where we’re more likely to go on Wednesday, that he can play in the cup against Gladbach.”
All the other players, however, are expected to be available. “Things are basically looking quite good there,” said Nagelsmann.
