The attackers will kick off the release of the Team of the Year in FC 25 on Friday evening. If you haven’t saved up packs before then there are four last-minute tips for generating coins.
On Thursday, EA SPORTS dropped the curtain. Both the men’s and women’s team of the year were presented. The first items will land in the FUT packs on Friday from 7pm. Traditionally, many players save rewards earned or unlocked via Squad Building Challenge (SBC) in the hope of getting one of the valuable items.
If you haven’t saved anything and are now looking at your diary in panic, there are still a few ways for you to generate coins. Four last-minute tips for the TOTY:
One option is to buy some Team of the Week (TOTW) items on the FUT transfer market and sell them at a slightly higher price. It is important that the players are ones that can be played successfully based on the meta. You should also put a suitable Chem Style on the card so that the overpriced sale actually works. Applying a sentinel to a forward card, for example, would be counterproductive.
There is one catch, though: as soon as the first Team of the Year cards appear, the price of so-called inform objects could drop. That means: don’t buy TOTW cards without a plan – you might end up making a loss. It is important to monitor market developments closely. Unless you want to gamble in the truest sense of the word.
Tip 2: Get rid of saved SBC food
If you have saved a lot of food for SBCs over time, you can also sell it at a slightly inflated price. However, the risks mentioned above also apply here. As soon as you take a look at the market, you can also look towards SBCs or Evolutions. Sometimes even silver or bronze cards rise in price because they are either indispensable for a team to be traded in or fit well into the meta after a development. An example would be the bronze item from Kyle Hudlin.
Tip 3: Promo cards with Chem style
The third tip is along the same lines, but deals with promo cards in general. In this regard, the question arises: which special items are suitable for this? FUT trading expert Manuel ‘MM___TV’ Madl advises setting your sights on a price between 15,000 and 25,000 coins. As with the inform items, don’t forget a suitable chem style.
Tip 4: Earn promo cards through packs
From Friday, there should be a 5×89+-Pack, which may contain exactly such cards. The special thing about it: you can earn the pack by completing certain tasks. In general, that’s another tip: if you still have open challenges from Rush and the like, you can now complete them. It also doesn’t hurt to keep an eye on the Ultimate Team Season Pass.
