Following the death of assistant coach Dejan Milojevic, the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA, which was scheduled for Friday (local time), has also been postponed.
This was announced by the North American professional league on Thursday. A new date has not yet been set.
The 46-year-old Serb died on Wednesday morning as a result of a heart attack. He had been hospitalized the previous evening after a medical emergency at the team dinner in Salt Lake City. Subsequently, the Warriors’ game with the Utah Jazz scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed.
Golden State is struggling this season, with only 18 wins in 40 games and in twelfth place.
