Harry Kane scored again from the spot against Leverkusen. EA SPORTS honors his accuracy from the penalty spot with a boost to the attribute in FC 25.
A deep breath, a short stop when running up – then an ice-cold shot into the top right corner. Harry Kane converted his 30th penalty in a row in the Champions League.
The last time the goal scorer failed from the spot was in December 2022: in the World Cup quarter-final against France, he missed a possible equalizer. A few weeks earlier, he missed against Eintracht Frankfurt – but it didn’t have a major impact as Tottenham won 3-2.
The 31-year-old has never had such an experience in an FC Bayern jersey. All of his 21 penalties for Munich went in. This did not go unnoticed by EA SPORTS: the developer increased Kane’s penalty attribute in FIFA 25 to 95 points – the second correction after release (originally 93).
Kane loses in dribbling
No other professional in the game now has a better penalty rating. Southampton’s Ivan Toney and TSG Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramaric follow with 92 points. But not all of Kane’s stats were upgraded: his dribbling attribute dropped by two points, probably also due to a role change – impact striker++ was replaced by false nine++.
With 30 converted penalties in a row, Kane extends his record. His closest rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, managed 27 in a row – but his streak was interrupted in October at the King’s Cup. Max Kruse, a German player, also achieved a similar success story. The former Gladbach and Freiburg player converted 23 penalties in a row. This means he shares eighth place with Sergio Ramos, Virgil van Dijk and former Mainz player Alexandru Maxim, among others.
