Zlatan Ibrahimovic Hat Trick Stuns Orlando City

Anyone who has followed Zlatan’s career knows that he is someone who has great confidence in his own ability. When LeBron James signed for LA Lakers recently, Zlatan welcomed him to LA by saying “Now LA has a God and a King!”

Zlatan has referred to himself as ‘God’ on many occasions and some might think it is arrogant but when you see what he is capable of with a football, you will probably agree that he justifies his own hype. He has played in all of the best football leagues in Europe, including stints at Inter Milan, Barcelona, PSG and Manchester United. At PSG he scored 113 goals in 122 appearances, a remarkable ratio. He achieved even more impressive goal scoring ratios at both Inter Milan and their rivals AC Milan.

Zlatan is at home amongst the stars in LA

Now he is in LA, a place where he will feel very at home amongst the stars. His start at LA Galaxy has gone to plan with plenty of goals, including a hat-trick in a 4-3 win over Orlando City. That took his goal tally to 15 goals in 17 games and you just know that Zlatan will have his eye on topping the MLS scoring charts come the end of the season. Josef Martinez currently has 24 goals but Zlatan will not see that as a problem.

Ibrahimovic’s first MLS hat trick

Zlatan’s first MLS hat trick triggered another amazing comeback for LA Galaxy. They trailed 2-1 at half-time before the Zlatan show began with a header from a Dos Santos cross. At 2-2 Orlando City came back again as Dominic Dwyer made it 3-2, thinking they had done enough to take the full points. Ibrahimovic ensured that the points were only going to end up with LA Galaxy, as he scored a diving header followed up by a half-volley to win the match in style.
