WWE scandal: Lesnar silenced

The disturbing allegations against resigned former WWE boss Vince McMahon also put top star Brock Lesnar in trouble.

Longtime WWE boss Vince McMahon has fallen over disturbing allegations – and the fallout from the scandal revelations is now also causing one of the league’s biggest stars to stumble.

According to consistent US media reports, former WWE and UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar was supposed to be part of the big Royal Rumble event. However, he was removed from the card at short notice after the sex trafficking allegations against McMahon also put Lesnar in trouble; he is said to have been a “customer” of the 78-year-old former employer’s alleged activities.

Former WWE office worker Janel Grant, who filed the lawsuit, accuses McMahon of selling her like sexual merchandise to Lesnar, among others.

WWE scandal: Brock Lesnar also in trouble

Lesnar is not mentioned by name in the 67-page lawsuit against the retired McMahon, WWE and their ex-talent chief John Laurinaitis, but by identifying him as a “former UFC heavyweight champion” and a star active in both WWE and UFC, he is clearly attributable.

The Wall Street Journal – which got the McMahon scandal rolling two years ago through investigative research – names Lesnar, but a request for comment from Lesnar remained unanswered.

McMahon – who has widely denied the allegations – allegedly offered Lesnar the prospect of Grant’s sexual services when Grant renewed his contract in August 2021, according to the lawsuit. Lesnar then demanded and received an intimate video from Grant. A “play date”, which Lesnar, who is married to former WWE star Sable, would have wanted with Grant, did not materialize due to a thunderstorm.

As the Wrestling Observer reports, Lesnar was supposed to be a participant in the Royal Rumble match on Saturday, the young talent Bron Breakker would have taken his planned place
