VfL Wolfsburg have announced the signing of their first new player for the coming season: offensive player Jakub Kaminski (19) will join the Wolves in the summer.
With his current club Lech Poznan, Kaminski is in full title contention – and has contributed six goals and five assists so far this season. This has not gone unnoticed by VfL Wolfsburg, who have long been keen on Kaminski and were able to announce the signing on Monday. The 19-year-old attacking player, who also made his debut in the Polish senior national team this season, will sign a five-year contract with the Green-Whites until the summer of 2027. According to the Polish media, the transfer fee will amount to around ten million euros.
“For me, moving to the Bundesliga is an absolute dream come true,” said Kaminski, who will play outside Poland for the first time from the summer. “In the talks, Jörg Schmadtke and Marcel Schäfer very quickly convinced me that VfL is the best club for me to take the next step in my career.
