The Oktoberfest starts in Munich on Saturday, and FC Bayern will present a special Wiesn jersey this time as well. The record champion will already be wearing green jerseys on Friday against Leverkusen.
In 2022, the Munich team still wore a dark red kit with golden embroidery. For 2023, the FCB announced a “fresh colour” that is “reminiscent of the term ‘Wiesn'”.
The Bavarians will be wearing green jerseys for the Oktoberfest, which “feature a sketched mountain flower pattern and the club emblem of the founding charter on the chest”. The neck again features an edelweiss and small lettering “Wiesn 2023”.
Thomas Müller and Co. will wear the new kit in the top match against league leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Friday evening, while the women around the retired captain Lina Magull will start the new Bundesliga season with the Wiesn jersey at SC Freiburg beforehand.
The price for the special jersey is 100 euros.
