The UEFA Financial Control Body (CFCB) is fining AS Roma for failing to meet set financial targets for the 2023 financial year. The chamber, which is responsible for monitoring compliance with UEFA regulations on the financial situation of soccer clubs, announced on Friday that the Giallorossi will have to pay two million euros.
The Italians are clearly not too worried about this, as they made some big moves on the transfer market in the summer. In addition to the transfer-free signings of Hummels and Mario Hermoso, coach Daniele De Rossi also acquired well-known and expensive reinforcements such as striker Artem Dovbyk, right winger Matias Soulé and Manu Koné from Gladbach. Alexis Saelemaekers (AC Milan) would be another prominent new signing, while Angelino has been signed permanently from RB Leipzig
No penalties for PSG and Milan clubs
