On Wednesday, VfB Stuttgart reported the domestic isolation of Waldemar Anton and Erik Thommy, the day after a third professional, Fabian Bredlow, was added to the list.
Bredlow had been unable to take part in team training on Wednesday due to injury. The goalkeeper subsequently tested positive for the coronavirus and is now in domestic isolation, just like Anton and Thommy before him.
“The series of tests also carried out yesterday (Wednesday) with the entire squad as well as the coaching and support staff, on the other hand, produced exclusively negative test results,” VfB announced in a statement.
The test match against SV Sandhausen scheduled for Thursday afternoon could therefore take place as planned.
