Those who don’t stand a chance of making the play-offs in the VBL Open can also qualify in the current season via the new Community Cups.
The German Football League (DFL) has created a new path on the way to the German FIFA Individual Championship for the 2021/22 season: In addition to the traditional Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) Open, winning a Community Cup will also earn a guaranteed place in the play-offs, which will ultimately determine the participants in the Grand Final.
The first two tournaments of this kind were presented on Wednesday. They will each have a celebrity host. Former German champion Mirza ‘Mirza’ Jahic and ex-Schalker Tim ‘TimLatka’ Schwartmann will present the NGU Community Cup on February 3 and the TimLatka Community Cup on February 17.

Both competitions are already scheduled and open for registration. Things get underway on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X
