Jürgen Klopp does not want to pre-empt the debut of Virgil van Dijk for Liverpool. The defender has been entitled to play since New Year’s Day, but Klopp wants to bring his record purchase quietly,”I don’t know that yet”, the rehearser responds to the question when Van Dijk will make his first minutes for his new club.
After the match against Burnley (1-2 victories) Klopp informs us that Liverpool has done a number of tests to see how Van Dijk is doing,”That’s all.
