US Davis Cup captain Mardy Fish will miss the group stage of the tennis tournament in Glasgow, Scotland.
The 40-year-old has contracted the corona virus and ex-professional Bob Bryan will captain the US team instead. This was announced by the US Tennis Association.
The team around US Open semi-finalist Frances Tiafoe will face Great Britain, Kazakhstan and the Netherlands in the group stage from 13 to 18 September. The top two teams will reach the final in Malaga, Spain (22 to 27 November).
