On June 23, the MMA Berlin Tournament 55 kicks off at the MMA Berlin Gym. The fight card has not yet been announced but it promises to be an exciting event featuring some hot MMA action.
Action from the last few MMA Berlin Tournaments
The last MMA Berlin Tournament took place on 17 March 2018 where the main event saw Martin Uhlich overcome Davit Hoffmann via KO/TKO in Round 1. Other fights included Misel v Maimanakos, where Misel forced a submission with a rear naked choke. Joshua Shulz overcame Jeremy Duquesne, as he had no option but submission due to a choke. There were 7 hotly contested MMA bouts at this event and if MMA Berlin Tournament 55 is anything like 54, it should be a great event to watch.
Back in December, MMA Berlin Tournament 53 took place with the highlight being Till Fiedler’s win over Emre Yasar via TKO (punches). Another interesting matchup saw Vincent Kelany up against Nick Skunde in a fight that went the distance and was decided by unanimous decision, with Kelany being victorious.
Looking forward to the line-up announcement
MMA Berlin has hosted 46 events and is becoming an increasingly popular arena for fighters to entertain the crowds. Whilst it mainly attracts German fighters, there are also fighters from other countries including Belgium like Jeremy Duquesne, getting in the cage at Berlin. It will be interesting to hear the line-up when it gets announced to find out what sort of fights we will be able to take in.
