The ratiopharm Ulm basketball players started the second round of the Eurocup with a victory
The Bundesliga team won 89:68 (48:33) at Buducnost Podgorica on Wednesday evening. The Ulm team now has a balanced record of 5:5 wins in Group B. Coach Jaka Lakovic did not make the trip because he did not feel fit enough despite a negative PCR test.
After a strong start (15:30/10th), Ulm allowed themselves some slackness in the second quarter. However, the club from Montenegro, which was short of players, did not manage to reduce the score decisively. Even after the change of ends, the guests controlled the game, although they only did what was necessary in the final phase. The best scorer of the match was Ulm’s Semaj Christon with 18 points.
