UFL announces Bayer Leverkusen as partner

It had been quiet around FIFA competitor UFL after the postponement of its release. On Thursday, however, developer Strikerz Inc. came back with a bang

Because the studio behind UFL announced that Bayer Leverkusen could be won as a partner for the football simulation. After Borussia Mönchengladbach, this is the second well-known Bundesliga club to join the project. In addition, what Strikerz Inc. had already hinted at in the first episode of the UFL Journey, an in-depth developer diary, was confirmed.

Strikerz Inc. puts next exclamation mark

“We are very pleased to welcome Strikerz Inc. as a partner in the field of game development,” said Florian Dederichs, Head of Sponsoring at Leverkusen, commenting on the licensing agreement. According to the announcement, the agreement will cover the use of image and video material.

Eugene Nashilov, CEO of the UFL developer was also enthusiastic about the deal: “We are delighted to welcome Bayer 04 to the UFL family. The Bayer 04 Leverkusen story shows that you should never give up while there are still opportunities.”

With the Werkself, the studio, which was founded in 2016, succeeds in putting another exclamation mark on the European football market. UFL had previously been able to win over Europa League semi-finalists West Ham United, Sporting Lisbon and AS Monaco, among others.
