Drakkar Klose may be put through his paces against Lando Vannata as a lot of people are expecting Vannata to come out on top. Irish fighter Richie Smullen takes on Luis Pena in the Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale at Pearl Concert Theater on the Friday evening before the Saturday UFC 226 starts, which will warm everyone up for the action.
Other news coming out this week is that Chuck Lidell and Tito Ortiz will be fighting for a third time, later on this year in a pay-per-view bout. Now aged 48 and 43, they both have a long fighting history and are considered to be legends of UFC, so this is a fight that everyone is really looking forward to.
Predictions from UFC experts are showing that Miocic is the clear favourite, with Holloway also expected to beat Ortega. Volkan Oezdemir will not be fighting as his felony battery trial takes place on 9 July. We will have to wait to see him in action after the trial.
