The Premier League announced on Thursday that relaxations regarding Corona measures will come into effect for clubs from Friday.
This was decided by the shareholders of the top English division during a meeting on Thursday. Under the new rules, there would continue to be stricter attention to spacing in buildings, while “restrictions such as the wearing of a mask” would be removed.
The regular testing of players and support staff will also be affected by the relaxations. Thus, from Monday, there will be a “return to two tests per week”. However, there will be regular reviews of the measures, which are due to end “at the end of this month”.
