But the team is better than it presented itself. They have already proved that. The match is now over for now, our absolute focus is on Dortmund. “
The match against Borussia on Saturday evening is the conclusion of the first half of the season for the Old Lady. “We want to go into the game with courage and joy – just like in the games before Mainz. A resolute defensive performance will be important, we all have to work together against the ball. But we also want to see elements with the ball that distinguished our game in Stuttgart and against Bielefeld. We want to have our own forward actions,” Korkut said.
A three-goal win against top team Dortmund would also mean a somewhat calmer Christmas for the Berliners. Hertha have not had a good season so far, sitting in 14th place with 18 points and thus very close to the relegation zone again. The question for the club from the capital is, of course, whether they will add more players in the winter. “It will be an interesting window. My mobile is chaos, it’s ringing all the time. The Berliners have already made their first winter transfer with the signing of Norwegian Fredrik André Björkan. “We will take another close look at our squad,” said Bobic, stressing that the capital club had “the right answer for every situation”.
