Tennis pro Yannick Hanfmann missed out on a place in the final at the ATP tournament in Kitzbühel. He lost to the Italian Matteo Berrettini after two sets with 4:6 and 4:6.
It would have been the 32-year-old’s first final on the ATP Tour since 2020. Back then, he reached the final in Kitzbühel but lost to Miomir Kecmanovic from Serbia. Berrettini already reached the Wimbledon final in 2021 and won the ATP tournaments in Gstaad and Marrakesh this year. In the meantime, he was ranked No. 6 in the world
