Timo Glock’s McLaren team Dörr Motorsport has unveiled its livery for the 2025 DTM season: Only one car will compete in papaya orange this year
Three days before the official DTM test, Timo Glock’s McLaren team Dörr Motorsport has finally unveiled its designs for the upcoming season – and is following up the announcements with action: Because in fact, in 2025, the team’s second year in the DTM, both cars will no longer be in papaya orange.
The 42-year-old Glock, who will make his DTM comeback in 2025 after a three-year break, will start the season with a blue, white and red design. The team has only released graphics so far, but the car was recently spotted in its final livery at Zandvoort, where the team tested in the middle of the week.
But why is the team, which is backed by the Dörr Group, the largest McLaren dealer in Europe, no longer using the traditional McLaren color for Glock? The company behind it is Yukatel.
This is a mobile phone wholesaler from the Frankfurt area, where the Dörr team is also based. Yukatel only advertises on Glock’s cars. The team has also gained the nutritional supplement manufacturer Rühl24 as a new sponsor, whose logos can be seen on both cars.
