Starting for the Turkish national team at the European Championships, starting for Italian record champions Juventus Turin at the start of the season – but in FC 25, Kenan Yildiz is rated as second-class.
70 points for a Juventus Turin regular? Apparently the right rating for EA SPORTS. After all, the developer gave the Turk Kenan Yildiz exactly this overall rating for FC 25. To the disbelief of his teammates: “They can’t do that,” says striker Dusan Vlahovic in a TikTok video in which some Juve ratings are presented. “We’re not going to comment on that. It’s a joke.”
But why should 70 virtual meters be a joke? Yildiz is only 19 years old, and such young players are generally rated lower by EA SPORTS than long-standing professionals. Despite their meteoric rise, Barcelona jewel Lamine Yamal (81) and Real talent Arda Güler (78) have also recently experienced this.
However, the case of Yildiz is different again. The Alte Dame’s winger not only fails to get a gold card (75 or higher) in Ultimate Team, but also misses it by a long way. 70 points are only four more than his current rating in the FC 24 career mode, which is subject to regular updates.

So there is no real leap, although Yildiz has attracted sustained attention in the last 12 months: The former Bayern Munich talent played a total of 27 Serie A games for Juventus in the past season, and he was on the pitch for all of Turkey’s matches at the European Championship this summer. In the new season, he has been named in the starting lineup for each of Turin’s five previous competitive matches – in which he has already scored one goal and provided two assists.
The overall rating of 70 does not just appear low at first glance – a comparison also raises questions: FUT 24 currently has a total of 93 silver and gold cards in the 2nd Bundesliga with a higher overall rating. Despite his explosive development, Yildiz receives a rather second-rate base item for FC 25. Which, even given his young age, is probably not enough.
