Theo Hernandez (24) is unlikely to be available to AC Milan for the time being. He has tested positive for the coronavirus.
As Milan announced on Wednesday, the French international himself had a swab test carried out at home, which came back positive. He is doing well, Milan is now talking to the authorities.
Hernandez had played in both of France’s Nations League matches, with the 24-year-old left-back scoring the last-minute goal in the semi-final against Belgium to win 3-2.
It is currently unclear whether other national players besides Hernandez are affected. Before the final against Spain (2-1 for France), Adrien Rabiot had already signed off with a positive test.
