It’s Saturday afternoon in Liverpool, and I’m strolling through Stanley Park with Paul Power, a member of Everton FC’s last championship-winning team. Our destination is Goodison Park. Power has flown over from his home in France to pay a final visit to the stadium where, as a 13-year-old in 1987, I saw the First Division champions lift the trophy.
