The DFB has scheduled the Women’s Cup Round of 16 for the exact time. And the TV broadcasts have now also been confirmed.
Defending champions VfL Wolfsburg round off the tournament. In the last match of the round of 16, the “Wölfininnen” have to play SC Freiburg on Monday, 1 November, starting at 6.30 pm. Sky will broadcast this match live. Only recently, the Breisgauers held the VfL to a draw in the league that was not necessarily expected.
Bayern Munich, the reigning Bundesliga champions, will be in action on Saturday, 30 October (1.30 pm). BR will also be showing the clash with league rival Eintracht Frankfurt live.
The first match on Saturday, 30 October, at 12 noon will be between regional league team Karlsruher SC and Carl Zeiss Jena, who have been promoted to the Bundesliga. Five more matches with different kick-off times will follow the next day. All games can be found here at a glance.
The quarter-finals will be played on 1 and 2 March 2022, followed by the semi-finals on 17 and 18 April 2022. The final will take place on 28 May 2022 at the Rhein-Energie-Stadion in Cologne. Pay-TV broadcaster Sky will broadcast one top match of each main round and thus a total of six matches. Both ARD and Sky will show the final in Cologne live.
