Test match directly ahead: Hoffenheim loan Asllani to Elversberg

Just one day before the scheduled test match against second division side SV Elversberg, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have announced the loan of striker Fisnik Asllani. The 21-year-old has just been loaned to SVE

Fisnik Asllani has already made ten Bundesliga appearances. But there won’t be any more for the time being. The talented 21-year-old striker was loaned down one level from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim to SV Elversberg on Tuesday.

The goal is clear: the attacker, who was born in Berlin on August 8, 2002 and still has a contract with the Sinsheimers valid until June 30, 2026, is to gain further match practice at the Saarland second division club and expand his previous wealth of experience, which also includes eleven first division matches for his last year’s loan station Austria Vienna.

“A very good solution for everyone involved “

“Fisnik is a talented striker who has repeatedly demonstrated his potential with us in recent years,” said Pirmin Schwegler, Head of Professional Football at Hoffenheim, confirming the continued confidence in the talent who has been training in Kraichgau since 2020. And says of the former Union Berlin youth player: “However, due to the competitive situation in our Bundesliga squad, we already decided last summer to loan him to traditional Austrian club Austria Vienna so that Fisnik can gain as much match practice as possible at the highest possible level. “

Schwegler is also aware that this plan did not work out completely despite a good start at Austria – a tendon injury had set Asllarni back a few weeks. And therefore added: “For this reason, we have now decided together with him to seek another loan and are firmly convinced that we have found a very good solution for everyone involved with SV Elversberg. We are confident that Fisnik will be able to take the next steps in his development there.”

However, a quick reunion is imminent. That’s because the test match against Elversberg is scheduled for Wednesday evening (5 p.m.). It is quite possible that Asllani will be able to prove himself directly against his actual employer
