Davis Cup player Oscar Otte has missed out on the quarter-finals at the ATP tournament in Florence.
The 29-year-old from Cologne lost in the round of 16 against Canadian number one Felix Auger-Aliassime 4-6, 7-6, (7-2) and 2-6. The world number 55, who is not yet back in top form after knee surgery, won his opening match on Tuesday against Marton Fucsovics from Hungary in three sets. Otte was the only German participant in the tournament in Florence, which is endowed with 612,000 euros.
