Delray Beach – Tennis pro Oscar Otte has won his opening match at the ATP tournament in Delray Beach.
The player from Cologne beat Yoshihito Nishioka from Japan 7-6 (10-8), 6-3. Otte used his first match point after 1:43 hours of play.
Otte (28) will now face Cameron Norrie of Great Britain in the round of 16 in the hard court tournament, which is endowed with 664,275 US dollars.
Meanwhile, Peter Gojowczyk (32) lost his match against Andreas Seppi from Italy 5:7, 4:6 and was eliminated.
