Russian tennis player Weronika Kudermetova has won her second title on the WTA Tour. The 26-year-old beat world number four Jessica Pegula of the USA 7-5, 6-1 at the 780,637 dollar tournament in Tokyo on Sunday. Kudermetova won her first title in Charleston/South Carolina in 2021.
Tatjana Maria was the only German player to be eliminated in the first round in Japan.
