With a bit of luck, a stadium gate will also open for season ticket holders at Arminia this weekend. The club announced this Wednesday how it will use the possibilities offered by the Corona Protection Ordinance at the first second-round home match.
At the important relegation match against Greuther Fürth, Arminia Bielefeld will not have to completely do without the support of fans in the stands. The new Corona Protection Ordinance of North Rhine-Westphalia allows a maximum of 750 spectators to be present at the home Schüco Arena.
For the allocation of tickets, the East Westphalians first set everything to zero and then use the random generator: regular season tickets are not valid for this match, their holders can have the value refunded via the Bundesliga club’s website. Season ticket holders can also register online for a selection procedure for the Fürth match – by drawing lots and with a bit of luck, they might be off.
The opportunity to take part in the procedure is open until 5 p.m. on Thursday, after which those selected can book their tickets.
A 2G certificate is a prerequisite for attending the match, children up to 15 and those who are not vaccinated are exempt. Arminia is preparing three adjoining stadium blocks of the venue, which actually holds 27,332 spectators (19,392 seats), for those who are successful in the draw. They will be reached via a single open access gate. The club also plans to provide food and drink. There will be no compulsory masks at the seats themselves.
